Help people actually learn the product

IraForce runs real security operations — guards clocking in, patrols verified, incidents escalated. Software that important has to be teachable. That is the job.

Open role

Product Video Producer — How-to & explainer content

Turn IraForce into videos our customers actually learn from. Short, task-focused walkthroughs that answer one question each: “How do I do X?”

The work

What you'll actually do

Four steps, in order. The last one is the one people underestimate.

Step 01

Learn the product properly

Both sides of it — the web portal supervisors and admins live in, and the mobile app guards use in the field. You cannot teach software you have not used.

Step 02

Script it before you record it

Every video answers exactly one question, in the fewest steps that are still honest. Writing the script is most of the work; recording is the easy part.

Step 03

Record, edit, caption, ship

Screen capture, clean voiceover, tight edit, accurate captions. Ship in a form we can drop into the help centre, the app, an onboarding email, or a sales call.

Step 04

Keep the library true

The part most people underestimate. Our product changes every week, and a video showing last month’s screen does not just age — it teaches the wrong steps. You own keeping the library correct, not just producing it once.

Concretely

The first videos you'd make

Real tasks, from the real product. If reading this list makes you want to open the app and work out how to explain them — you are the person we are looking for.

  • How to onboard a new guard and issue their login
  • How to build a patrol route and assign checkpoints
  • How to set up a site geofence
  • How to approve a timesheet and push it to payroll
  • How to review and action an incident report
  • How a guard clocks in, runs a patrol, and scans an NFC checkpoint
Essential

What we're looking for

  • A portfolio of software how-to / explainer videos — screen-recorded product walkthroughs, not a cinematic showreel.
  • You can learn an unfamiliar application quickly and explain a task in plain language.
  • Strong scriptwriting. The clarity of the writing is what makes the video good.
  • Confident with screen capture and editing (Camtasia, Descript, Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci — we do not mind which).
  • Clear voiceover, or the judgement to use synthetic voice well.
  • You spot when a step is confusing and tell us — the fix is often in the product, not the video.
Bonus

Nice to have

  • B2B SaaS, help-centre, or customer-education experience.
  • Motion graphics / animated callouts.
  • Captions and localisation.
  • You have maintained a video library through product changes before.
Honestly, no

What this role is not

  • A brand film, a hype reel, or a 60-second sizzle. That is a different job.
  • Someone who needs a finished script handed to them — you will write them.
  • Security-industry experience. You do not need it; we will teach you the domain.
How to apply

Show us one video, not ten

Send a link to one software how-to video you made and one line on why you chose it. We would rather see a single clear two-minute walkthrough of a boring feature than a beautiful reel that teaches nothing.

Shortlisted candidates get a paid test task: we give you access to IraForce, you pick one workflow, and you make one short video explaining it.
